CCI-NC had a blast at the Charlotte FC vs New York City FC match on May 6th! The evening kicked off with a good ol' fashioned tailgate.
As guests mingled, they indulged in a mouthwatering spread of delicious food and drinks, including a delightful gelato station that added a sweet touch to the festivities!
Our gathering point behind the official Supporter Group tailgate area buzzed with energy, complete with lively music, talented Face Paint artists, and an exciting Kid's Zone filled with inflatable attractions. To add to the excitement, we hosted an engaging raffle, with the grand prize being a coveted Charlotte FC jersey signed by none other than Coach Lattanzio and the entire Charlotte FC team. Congratulazioni al fortunato vincitore!
The pre-game celebrations reached their peak at 6:00 p.m., when we joined the passionate Charlotte FC supporters in the traditional march to the stadium. The atmosphere was electric, setting the stage for an exciting match ahead.
The game itself was a spectacle. Charlotte FC got off to an impressive start, scoring a goal within the first ten minutes.
NYC FC fought back fiercely, resulting in yellow cards for both sides in the 14th minute. With an even score after halftime, anticipation filled the air. Finally, in the 74th minute, Charlotte FC delivered a decisive goal, sealing NYC FC's fate and securing a triumphant victory.
