**The number of class groups and the ages of the children within them may change depending on the number of students and their level of Italian proficiency. It is likely that within the individual groups, there will be subgroups (advanced and beginner).**

Class Groups:

  • Alphabet comprehension, including letters and phonetics

  • Learning how to present yourselves

  • Comprehension of simple instructions

  • Ability to communicate daily activities

  • Playing in Italian

  • Listening to Italian children's songs and tales

  • Activities introducing Italian holidays and traditions
     

• I Ricci (7 - 9)

  • Basic grammar rules

  • Ability to communicate daily activities and ask questions

  • Reading and comprehension of short Italian stories

  • Fun and fascinating facts about the geography of Italy

  • Fun and fascinating facts about the history of Italy

  • Activities corresponding with Italian holidays and traditions 
     

• I Leoni (10 - 12)

  • Grammar rules and verb conjugations

  • Acquistion of writing skills in Italian

  • Reading and comprehension of Italian literature

  • Presentations on Italian cultural topics

  • Fun and fascinating facts about the geography of Italy

  • Fun and fascinating facts about the history of Italy

  • Activities corresponding with Italian holidays and traditions
