This year's tailgate had a fantastic turnout with over 250 CCI-NC members attending the Charlotte FC game against Chicago Fire FC on May 15th. 

The pre-game tailgate featured freshly-baked pizza provided by Capishe and handmade gelato by Corrado Gelato. Everyone was given a t-shirt according to their seat assignment in order to form a "living Italian flag" which was visible in the stands.

The event also featured a raffle of CCI-NC merch with the grand prize being a signed Charlotte FC jersey. The raffle was an immense success raising over $1,000, and we extend our sincere thanks to Duncan and the rest of the Charlotte FC for their generosity. Lastly, after the game many of the children in our group got to step onto the field after the match and take penalty kicks.
