An Evening of Culture: Celebrating Opera Carolina

CCI-NC was pleased to honor Opera Carolina again in 2018 for continuing to support Italian art and artists.

Opera Carolina's production of Verdi's Rigoletto featured performances by two Italian singers - Leyla Martinucci as Maddalena and Raffaele Abete as the Duke of Mantua.

CCI-NC's reception had hors d'oeuvres, wine, and a short performance by Ms. Martinucci and Mr. Abete. Italian community members, CCI-NC board members, and Opera Carolina staff had a lovely evening at Poplar Street Cafe. Attendees were blown away by the talent, which was enhanced by the beautiful, intimate setting of the restaurant.
